Embargo Policy

Embargo Policy of MSParis2017:

Normal Abstracts: all abstracts accepted for MSParis2017 will be published at the congress website and in press releases as of 15 October 2017 (10 days prior to the congress). Coverage of abstract data in satellite symposia or in press releases at the congress is permitted. However, additional data yet to be presented cannot be included.

Late-Breaking Abstracts: will be published in the abstract book and are available on the congress website on the first day of the congress (25 October 2017). Also coverage in satellite symposia or in press releases is permitted as of the first day of the congress. However, additional data yet to be presented cannot be included.

Top line data: Journalists or sponsors who wish to issue press releases that contain no actual data related to the presentation but provide “top line” information for release in advance of the normal embargo date need the specific approval of the ECTRIMS Executive Committee, who may require changes in the text before permitting release. Please contact the Administrative Secretariat for details.

Media Embargo Violations
Individuals and/or sponsors who violate these MSParis2017 media embargo policies may face sanctions relating to current and future abstract submissions, presentations and visibility at ECTRIMS Congresses.

Additional Press Releases
Press releases should clearly state the organisation or individual responsible for the content and should respect the embargo policies. Press releases do not need any approval from MSParis2017. For any questions regarding press releases, please contact ectrims[at]congrex.com.
