Abstract Booklet

The abstract booklet includes the top ranked abstracts of MSParis2017 and is exclusively available at the Sanofi Genzyme booth. The abstract booklet is supported by Sanofi Genzyme.

Accreditation

MSParis2017 – 7th Joint ECTRIMS-ACTRIMS Meeting is accredited by the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME) to provide the following CME activity for medical specialists. The EACCME is an institution of the European Union of MedicalSpecialists (UEMS), www.uems.net.

MSParis2017 – 7th Joint ECTRIMS-ACTRIMS Meeting is designated for a maximum of (or “for up to”) 21 hours of European external CME credits. Each medical specialist should claim only those hours of credit that he/she actually spent in the educational activity.

Through an agreement between the European Union of Medical Specialists and the American Medical Association, physicians may convert EACCME credits to an equivalent number of AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Information on the process to convert EACCME credit to AMA credit can be found at www.amaassn.org/go/internationalcme.

Live educational activities, occurring outside of Canada, recognized by the UEMS-EACCME for ECMEC credits are deemed to be Accredited Group Learning Activities (Section 1) as defined by the Maintenance of Certification Program of The Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.

Application for Mobile Devices

The application will allow participants to navigate through the entire scientific programme from their mobile device, view sessions by day and category, access the abstracts being presented, view ePosters, locate exhibitors and to create a personalised itinerary.

Badges

 

Access to the scientific sessions will only be possible with your personal name badge. Please always wear your badge! If you forget your badge, we can reprint it for a deposit of € 30. The deposit will be returned once you show that you still have both badges, of which we will keep one. If you lost your badge or do not show both badges anymore, € 30 will be charged.

Certificates

You will receive an email with a link to get to the online evaluation form in the evening of the last day of the congress (Saturday, 28 October 2017). After completing the congress evaluation form you will be able to download the certificate indicating the CME credits at home.

Certificates of attendance (not indicating CME credits) are available onsite from Friday morning, 27 October 2017. They can be printed at the certificate stations on level 0, using the barcode printed on your name badge.

Changes

For any name change, a fee of 50 will be charged. Onsite changes of name badges or email addresses for the certificate mailing due to incorrect submission will be charged 10.

Children at ECTRIMS

Children up to the age of 1 year are allowed at the congress, considering that one parent watches the child and the child does not disturb the congress.

Accompanying children over the age of 1 year are not allowed to attend the congress due to the pharma codex. We thank you for your understanding.

Cloakroom

A cloakroom is available to keep your coats and luggage. It is located on Level 0 and is free of charge for delegates. Please be informed that suitcases are not allowed within the congress area and have to be stored at the cloakroom.

All official prices are indicated in Euro (€). The official currency in France is EURO (€). All major credit cards are accepted in most hotels, restaurants and shops.

Exhibitor Lounge

A lounge for exhibitors is located on level 1 in Meeting Room 101 – 103. Access for exhibitors only.

Industrial Exhibition

The industrial exhibition is located in immediate vicinity to congress activities such as lecture halls and catering areas. Companies from all over the world are given ample opportunity to display their latest products, services and technical innovations.

Insurance

The congress organisers cannot accept liability for personal injuries sustained, or for loss or damage of property belonging to conference participants, either during, nor as a result of the meeting. Please check the validity of your own insurance.

Internet Corner

Internet terminals will be available for all congress participants. They are located in the industrial exhibition on level 1 and 2.

The congress language is English. Simultaneous translation will not be provided.

Lunch & Coffee Breaks

Lunch & coffee breaks are included in the registration fee and will be served in the exhibition area.

A nursing room is available throughout the whole congress and is located in meeting room 131 on level 1.

Aside the poster session, all accepted posters are available for viewing electronically during the entire congress on ePoster terminals. Additionally, all accepted posters can be accessed via the MSParis2017 App and in the ECTRIMS Online Library.

Prayer Room

A prayer room is available to the participants throughout the whole congress and is located in meeting room 363 on level 3.

Press

Accredited journalists are welcome to cover the MSParis2017. Upon presentation of your press identification, registration will be free of charge. A Press Centre is at your disposal located in Meeting Room 253 and signposted accordingly.

The same opening hours will apply for onsite registrations. Onsite registrants cannot be guaranteed to receive all congress documents. For a new congress registration please follow the signs to “New Registration” within the registration area. You can pay by credit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express). Cash payments in Euro will only be accepted at the registration helpdesks on level 1.

Responsibility

The participant acknowledges that he/she has no right to lodge damage claims against the organisers should the holding of the congress be hindered or prevented by unexpected political or economic events or generally by force majeure, or hould the non-appearance of speakers or other reasons necessitate programme changes. With his/her registration, the participant accepts this proviso.

Room for Ad hoc Meetings

Two small rooms for ad hoc meetings are available from Wednesday, 25 to Friday, 27 October from 09.00 –18.00. They can accomodate a maximum of 6 persons and can be requested for up to 1 hour. Requests to use one of these meeting rooms will be treated on a first serve basis. The rooms are located on level 2 in meeting room 261 and 262 and hostess is available to make a reservation for you.

Teaching Courses

The scientific programme consists of 18 interesting Teaching Courses that participants can register for (upon availability).

In order to avoid queues and waiting time, please register for the Teaching Courses in advance during the online registration. However, it is also possible to register for the courses onsite at special Teaching Course counters in the registration area.

Handouts for the Teaching Courses will not be available before the congress. After the congress the presentations of the Teaching Courses will be made available and the registered participants of the Teaching Courses will be informed by email accordingly.
