How do I register for the Congress?
The registration process is online, please click here to start your registration.
How can I pay the registration fees?
Payment of registration fees can be made by credit card (Visa, MasterCard or Amex) or bank transfer.
Can I receive an invoice under the sponsoring Company / Hospital’s name?
Yes. If you require an invoice to be issued to the sponsoring company, you have the possibility to change the invoice address before you finish your online registration.
Can I register on site?
Yes. Onsite registration is available during the conference days. Onsite fees will apply.
What does my registration fees include?

Will I receive a confirmation letter after I have finished registering?
Yes. A detailed confirmation letter and receipt will be sent to delegates registering individually by email as soon as your registration is completed.
How can I add Teaching Courses to my existing registration?
Please log in to your account again (same login details you used for your congress registration) and click on “individual registration” again. You will then get to the ticket selection to choose the requested course.
Invitation Letters & Visa Applications
How do I apply for a visa to visit Germany?
Visa regulations depend on your nationality and country of origin. We suggest you contact your local Consulate for full and official instructions on the specific visa regulations and application procedure that apply to you.
Where can I get a Congress invitation letter so that I can apply for a visa?
This can be done online during the registration process. Please click the button «Visa invitation letter» and send us a request. After we have received your registration and full payment, an invitation letter will be issued and sent out to you by email.
Is it possible to send an official invitation letter directly to my local Consulate?
Unfortunately we are unable to send invitation letters directly to consulates. Invitation letters are prepared solely for individuals and are mailed directly to them.
Accommodation
Congrex Switzerland has contracted hotels in several price categories in and around Berlin. Information, pictures, location and rates are available on the online booking page.
What is the difference between “official / contracted hotels” and Expedia hotels?
Official / contracted hotels are hotels which Congrex Switzerland has contracted especially for Ectrims 2018 with fixed rates. For these hotels the general terms and conditions on the congress website apply.
In order to offer a larger variety of hotels, especially for lower budget accommodation, Congrex Switzerland collaborates with Expedia. These hotels can also be booked via the congress website (same as the official / contracted hotels). The only difference you see is that depending on the hotel you can choose between several types of terms and conditions (non refundable, fully refundable etc.). The terms and conditions vary per hotel and always shown on the booking page prior to confirmation.
How can I book my room and should I pay in advance?
In order to book a room, please book online. Full payment via credit card is mandatory when you book online.
Will I receive a hotel confirmation?
Yes. A detailed confirmation / invoice as well as the hotel voucher will be sent to you by email as soon as the booking is confirmed and paid.
Can I book a hotel room without registering for the Congress?
Yes. You can book your room without registering by proceeding directly to the online booking page. If you need further assistance, please email Congrex Switzerland at hotel.ectrims@congrex.com
How can I book rooms for a group?
For group bookings (8 rooms and more) please contact Congrex Switzerland directly at hotel.ectrims@congrex.com. Different terms and conditions apply.

CME Credits
Is the conference CME accredited?
An application for CME credits has been made to the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME). The EACCME is an institution of the European Union of Medical Specialists (UEMS): www.uems.net. Further details will be published here as soon as they are available.
