The registration is now closed.

Congress Registration

Upon receipt of the full registration fee, each participant will receive a confirmation of registration. Please bring this confirmation to the registration desk at the congress centre as proof of your registration and payment. A congress bag including all documents (final programme, name badge, vouchers, etc.) will be distributed to the registered participants during the following opening hours:

The same opening hours will apply for on-site registrations. On-site registrants cannot be guaranteed to receive all congress documents.

Please note that each participant is entitled to either one copy of the abstract supplement or one abstract CD-Rom, according to the choice that was given upon online registration.

The participant will receive the item chosen at the Material pick-up counter. Changes between the abstract book and the CD ROM on site are not possible.

Group registrations: When registering a group, the choice of abstract book or CD Rom has to be indicated for each person of the group. Should there be no indication of choice, the person will automatically receive the Abstract CD Rom.


The participant acknowledges that he/she has no right to lodge damage claims against the organisers should the holding of the congress be hindered or prevented by unexpected political or economic events or generally by force majeure, or should the non-appearance of speakers or other reasons necessitate programme changes. With registration, the participant accepts this proviso.

Cancellation / Refund Policy

Refund of registration fees, less 25% administrative charges, can be applied for in writing until 31 August 2012 to the Administrative Secretariat in Basel, Switzerland. After this date no refund will be possible. For any name change, a fee of € 30 will be charged.

On-site changes of name badges due to incorrect submission of names and/or address data will be charged at € 10. The participant is liable to pay the registration costs as soon as she/he has registered for the congress. If she/he is not attending the conference and has not kept the cancellation policy, the complete registration costs have to be paid.


Access to the scientific sessions will only be possible with your personal name badge which you will receive at the registration desk at the main entrance of the congress centre. Please always wear your badge! € 30 will be charged for replacement of a lost badge.
